Overnight in Nairobi

After breakfast, your driver-guide will meet you where you will board your safari van and drive to Samburu National Reserve which is a rugged and Semi-desert Park located in Samburu district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The park neighbors the homes of the Samburu tribe of Kenya, a tribe known for their remote culture and nomadic way of life. The game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa oryx. The elusive Kenya leopard is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings. You will arrive in time for lunch at your hotel. Afternoon at leisure or you may enjoy a game drive at the reserve.

Breakfast at the hotel. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Following lunch at the lodge, you will be taken on an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in time for dinner.

After breakfast and some leisure time, you will be transferred to The Aberdare Country Club. After lunch, you will be transferred to your lodge. The rest of the day is at leisure with game viewing from the lodge. Dinner to be enjoyed at your lodge.

After breakfast, check out of your rooms and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park which is about 90 miles northwest of Nairobi, in the Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity including flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds, and the black and white rhinoceros which are the major attractions of the area. Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, head to a game drive at the park.

After breakfast, board your safari van and drive further the rift valley to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve which is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. There have been some species of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure or you may enjoy a game drive at the park.

After breakfast, bid Maaai Mara goodbye with a game drive en-route as you head back to Nairobi. You will enjoy lunch at The Carnivore Restaurant before being dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
